buy a new case .. you can get nice ones for cheap .... and usually they come with several inserts to fit multiple motherboard configurations so they are universal ... a factory namebrand case from gateway, or dell for example ... is probably only made to fit their boards ...

The motherboard comes with a template and that's what snaps into the back of the case. As long as the mobo and the case are the same type (i.e. ATX, BTX, etc) then there's no need to "match" cases to motherboards, as all mobo's come with a rear i/o port template that replaces the generic one that came with the case.

From what I gather from your question themobo fits in the case correctly its the faceplate on the back that is not matching? If this is the case all you needd is the new faceplate that comes with all new mobos and remove the old one.

Buy a new case, or take the motherboard back.
And next time check if it is AT ATX mini AT mini ATX!

the cheapest solution would be to buy a new case. the expensive solution would be to buy a new motherboard. you should have made sure they were compatible before you bought them

buy a compatable case, or a new motherboard, atx motherboard, atx case, and so on and so on.
