From"FINDING THE IP NUMBERS ON YOUR COMPUTERS People sometimes have trouble with firewalls such as ZoneAlarm blocking their computers on a network. When that happens, you need to enter the computers' IP numbers in the firewall manually. The IP number is a computer's address. It will tell the firewall to let the computer through. If you are having this problem, here's how to find the IP number in the various versions of Windows. First, go to a command prompt: Windows XP--Start>>All Programs>>Accessories>>Command Prompt Windows 2000--Start>>Programs>>Accessories>>Command Prompt Windows ME--Start>>Programs>>Accessories>>MS-DOS Prompt Windows 98--Start>>Programs>>MS-DOS Prompt Once at the prompt, enter the word "ipconfig" without the quotes. The information that follows will include the IP number for the machine. To enter the number, right-click the ZoneAlarm icon in the bottom right of the screen. Click Restore ZoneAlarm Control Center. In the ZoneAlarm window, click Firewall. At the bottom of the Firewall window, click Add>>IP Address. Enter the number in the IP Address Box. Click OK>>Apply. Easy breezy! Other firewalls are likely to be similar." = Quote from: = http://www.komando.com

Or
Start/Run/type cmd/type Ipconfig

Or to find "Subnet mask" "Gateway" "Primary DNS" and "Secondary DNS". =
Start/Run/type cmd/type ipconfig /all
