my sister is 12 and is having a holiday (christmas) concert. she doesnt know what to wear. any ideas on what to wear and where to shop? and also what to do with her hair. shes 5'2'' and has long wavy dark brown hair. my sis says thnx!!

its around harrison,nj. all the classes in school (prek-8th and im in 7th) get together and sing. all teachers,parents and students attend it.

Be careful about giving out information that tells people where you live, etc. You never know who will read it! Especially at an event like that there will be children and families milling around and you don't want some idiot trying to find someone unattended.
I used to be administrative assistant to the principal of a pre k-8th ggrade school. We weren't allowed to give over the phone information on these types of events they had to be given to parents only and then they distributed the information to whom they wanted to share the event with. The reason the school board instructed we adhere to these rules is the potential for problems. These events are often so busy and everyone is rushing around that children (often siblings of students) are often not looked after as well as they should be. The school or church feels like a safe environment and not many think that the event can attract people who are looking to target young children. It's sad and sick, but the potential for abuse is there. Especially in the bathrooms, etc. Anyway, it's better safe than sorry. It's important to remember that no matter what someone's picture or avatar is they may not be who they seem or appear to be. Remember they say that serial rapists are often very charming.
