Big Bird learned how to talk at Bird Brain University. They offer a variety of different languages for birds from all over the world to learn. When Big Bird landed his role on Sesame Street as a lead actor it was in part because had chosen English as a second language. Big Bird , "very smart" , he knew anyone could bark like a dog or hiss like a cat but only those who wanted the American dream would learn to speak English!
