I would like to get a wii, but all the local stores are sold out and the cheapest one on amazon is like $750

Sadly, if all of the stores are sold out you can't get it from anywhere except from people on the internet.
You see, Nintendo only gave an x amount to the US (and everywhere else). Also, each STORE only gets and x amount. So you have to wait until Nintendo releases/sells more to your country.
What people do is buy one and when there are none left, they sell it for more that 3x the regular price. THEY ARE EVIL!!!!
I believe that is why the stores say "only one per house."

If I were you I would try to ask someone at a local store if they know when the next shipment is coming, you can get there an hour early (maybe earilier if you are in a crowded town or city) to wait (there might be a line) for them to restock. Wii's are flying off the shelves, if you must have one as soon as possible it will cost you around 700 dollars, but if you can wait a few months you can save a couple hundred.

All of them are around that price right now, because those are pre-orders and they are coming out with a really high-priced package, and will ship on the 18th. And nobody has Wiis in stock right now. Your only chance is to get one on eBay. And those are a little overpriced also.

Walmart will have them for sale tomorrow . Wednesday December 6th, at 8 am so be there around 6 or 5am
