Yes, sorry. I'm assuming you're definitely sure the internal pump has gone bad? Luckily, your car is fairly new so the straps and hangers etc. won't be all rusted. Just be aware that gas weighs 7 pounds per gallon, so use a jack or get a buddy to help you lower it.
The lines are all color coded, but if you can't see the colors, use colored bread ties or colored wire to mark them, Don't use masking tape, tape has a habit of coming off or the ink blurs and you get mixed up. Be careful putting the tank back, don't kink the hoses and don't forget to tighten all the clamps.

Yes you will have to remove the fuel tank to get at the fuel pump module.
I just checked Alldata and the first thing they say is to remove the fuel tank.

I am not sure but my 02 pontiac gp has a hole in trunk where you can access fuel pump, your car might have same thing. Look under carpet towards front of trunk. if there is no access cover you have to remove tank.
