My grand-daughters had the very same thing and my daughter
ask her Mid Wife and she told her that it was due to her hormones and that it would go away. We called them pimples.
But when another appeared on my grand-daughters forehead my
daughter wanted to pop it and I told her no cause it would leave a scar. We didn't understand either why it would appear on the baby ,if it was due to my daughters hormones.

No, it's normal. Lots of infants get "baby acne". I know it's probably itchy, & you want to help...but NOT OTC ACNE MEDICATION!! Call the doctor back & explain that it has worsened since the cream, ask for another appointment. Let the doctor handle it.

I know this sounds weird, but when I was young I heard that some people put urine on baby's faces to cure baby acne. Not like a cup of urine, but just the diaper over the face. I did this to me daughter who had a little baby acne and I never seen it again. This may be just an old wives tell and it may sound gross, but I tried it and it worked.

If they are little pimple like looking white bumps, they will go away on their own. My mom always called them "milk bumps" my son had them on his nose for a little while when he was a baby and I just made sure to keep him very clean and eventually they went away.

Leave the bumps alone, they'll go away on their own. Your baby's skin is just fine so don't worry most babies have white bumps. All 3 of my babies had them on their nose.

Don't put anything on it and it will go away. These are just things babies get and most of them don't need any treatment.

DO NOT USE ANYTHING ON YOUR CHILD. They are milkspots and perfectly normal. They will come and go.
