Raven,
i just went through the same situation. He ran off with a little coke-head bibmo who's divorced 3 times (she's 31, her actual husband 61). I went to a therapist and said that it might be his midlife crisis. I went to the priest and he told me to be patient. I told my family and they said i should leave, then...I started praying. Not telling God what to do, but to do what's best for us, his family. All of a sudden, after 3 weeks of praying, he came back. He said he's just realized what he did. He's not making silly excuses or empty promises, and i'm not asking questions, just thanking God.
I will pray for you, ok?

maybe the true happiness is found in the cheating husband who has left and the cheating **** who has created the insight of things that became to be, so your true happiness is not to live with this cheater.i will pray for you, but i will also pray that you move on, so you won't kill your self wondering if he'll do it again. god bless.

pray as if u had already received what u are praying for, he will come home and realiaze his mistake if u can hang in there, unfortunatly i did not have the faith or will to stay and wait. i did not know that there was a power higher than my misery and pain that would have worked on my behalf, had i just kept hope, and faith. good luck to u, and pray like u never prayed before, as he answers prayer's if u just can have faith, and hope.

I feel your pain. My father left me, my mom and my older sister when I was just a little girl. It hurt me really bad despite my lack of awareness of the things that were going on.
You are in my prayers

Don't believe any god would listen to my selfish little want. So, no, won't pray. Would tell the wife to get a job, get some help either counseling or with a shelter, and tell them all to get on with their lives. Pray? to what?

Sure will. It's nice that you care enough about them to ask for prayer. I'll pray for you too!
