well that depends on what you want to do with the photos and music. if you just want to look at them and listen to them, any notebook will do that, even 5 years old ones. if you want to write your own music, or do a lot of graphic design/manipulation., then you obviously ened a computer that has enough processing power to handle the programs you want to use.

generaly that would be almost any SONY brand notebook as they come with software geared for photos and music. Some HP computers with Windows Media Center Software should be ok too.

Apple's. They ship with music and photo software installed, iTunes and iPhoto.
