What I mean is, i've been on birth control pills for for 2 years but currently have decided to switch to Yaz. I'm supposed to start the new pack tomorrow and have just had my period, but I have calculated it out and don't want my period on the days its going to be on, so could I just wait a week to start the new pack and push my period back a week? Or will I end up getting my period anyway? Thank you so much

Yes, it is perfectly fine to wait a week and then start the new pack. I would definitely use another source of birth control during the next month. I often delay my periods by waiting a week when I have a big event coming up like a vacation. You will not get your period until you stop the pills.
