Yeah, people with green eyes can wear blue eyeshadow. Never does it say anywhere that people cannot wear certain colors because of their eye color.

I would suggest for green eyes

1. Purple (can be anywhere from lavender to deep purple)
2. Brown
3. Gold/Bronze

You could wear bluish greens (pale), blues, gold (foxy!) plums or purple, and certain pinks would look good too depending on the tone and where you put them. I have greenish eyes and I use them with purple toned colors or a violet lid liner. Smoky colors may make your eyes disappear so stay away from greys, browns etc. Use a lighter shade to highlight from your brow to top lid to make your eyes really pop out! Idea:make a V shape with your brush along the crease of your lid and lash line and fill it in with a light shade. Blend it in-great look! Enjoy. I have used this technique for years and get a great look!

necessarily it depends on what shade of blue
if its light blue
it would look real cute
dark blue would look ugly
if you have green eyes some faint pink or salmon would look awesome
and if u use that for your eyes
some shiny lip gloss would make you stand out

then again it doesn't just depend on the color of your eyes
it depends on
hair
skin tone
pesonality
fashion

.if you have curly hair ... use something that would complement youre hair and not try to steel the spotlight becuase your hair is way more important then your eye shadow

...if your hair is straight, use something that will stand outcause you need to have something that steels attention

.if you have dark skin use something light but not to light

....if you have light skin use something that will complement your skin and kindve fade in but not so muck faded in that its unnoticeble

...if you have a rocky personality and out fit
use something dark

...if you have a soft calm personality use light colors

....if you have additude choose what the hell you feel like choosing

Navy blue looks okay with my green eyes, but "ABBA Blue" looks horrible on me. Plum tones are much better for me, personally. They make the green "pop"!

Depending on your skin tone, the make-up you choose will need to flatter your face and hair. If you apply the wrong colours, you’re not doing yourself a favour -- and you can look all washed out, or overdone. Play up your features with the best make-up colours, tints and hues for your skin tone.
Make-up for Fair Skin
If you’re fair-skinned, sheer colours look best on you. Apply light earth tones and soft pastels, such as blue and lavender to accent your eyes.
Various shades of pink will look good on your eyes, cheeks and lips. Keep your mascara to brown or brown/black. Light, sheer lipstick adds a finishing touch. Peach is always a good choice for our fair-skinned friends, it looks natural and compliments your skin colour.
Medium Toned Skin
Your warmer completion gives you many options for a fabulous makeover. Being “in-between” does have its benefits. Deep matter earth tones and jewel colours such as hunter green, dark grey, beige and brown will accent your eyes. Coral and plumb colours work good to accentuate your cheekbones.
Experiment with your lip colour. Your skin tone is very versatile and if you’re brunette, anything from pink to red will look great on you. Top it off with lip gloss for extra staying power. Bronzing powder dusted over your forehead, nose and cheeks will give you the ultimate sun-kissed look.
Make-up for Dark Skin
You may need a heavier hand when applying make-up to dark skin -- but you need to choose the right shades. For eye shadow, gray, brown and natural shades will compliment your eyes. Also try shimmer colours such as silver, bronze, and terra-cotta. Experiment with mascara colours such as navy and dark purple.
For blush, more pigment for darker skin is a must. Deep rose and apricot shades highlight your cheekbones beautifully. Sometimes, a bronze highlighter does the trick. Stay away from anything with a strong orange base as this will not flatter your skin.
Dark lip colour such as apricot, blackberry, caramel and red will compliment your lips.
Olive and Ethnic Skin Tones
With your darker skin tone, neutral shades as well as dark purple and blue will look great on your eyes. Metallic colours also look remarkable, as long as the shades remain darker.
Highlight your cheekbones with bronzing powder, dark plum, chestnut, or terra-cotta blush. Keep the tones natural and avoid anything too light.
Lipstick shades that will bring out your lips are berry, plum, russet, or almond. Avoid “true” reds, they will clash with your skin tone.

How To Sweet But Sexy Colors
Things to Consider...
-the shade of your eyes. (This will effect how the colors work for you.)
-the tools that you use to apply the shadow
-how much shadow you use (the more layers, the more intense the color)
-the shape of your eyes
-your age group

Are softer shades more appealing to you? This combination of soft shades should be perfect for school or on the job.

Here's How:
1. Eye Shadow: Peach over the lid.
2. Eye Shadow #2: Dust a little light brown over the peach. According to forum regular, "GOLDGREENEYE", the following combination works very well together.
3. Eye Liner: Deep mossy Green
4. Blush: A lush deep peach
5. Lipstick: "Browned" peach shade

While it might seem strange to use yellow shadow on your eyes, you will be amazed at how it blends away and the green of your eyes seems even lighter. I chose these of colors for green eyes, but I found that it also worked for my shade of brown.
Difficulty: N/A
Time Required: N/A
Here's How:
1. Eye Shadow: a medium shade of yellow blended over the entire eye area. Be sure to blend well. No lines should be visible.
2. Eye Liner: a dark gray blended along the lash line, growing wider as it reaches the end of the eye and sweeps around to the lower lashes.
3. Mascara: a light coat of black to thicken the lash line.
4. Blush: a sandy brown pink. Be sure to blend well. There is nothing worse than long streaks of color.
5. Lips: if you don't have a peachy brown shade, try combining two lipsticks until it looks perfect. I do this all the time and create different shades as I need them. A touch of gloss to the bottom lip is the finishing touch.
Tips:
I have found that finding the perfect colors is often more important than a new technique. I don't want anyone noticing my makeup. With the right colors, this is possible.
You will notice that no secondary color was used on the brow bone. If this doesn't work for you, a touch of a brown shadow to the bone will lift the area.
How To Soft Shades

**This combination perks up the features without making it obvious. This is a nice clean look that does everything for green eyes.

Here's How:
1. Eye Shadow: Apply a gold/beige on the lid.
2. Socket: Apply a soft maroon color into eye socket and blend well.
3. Corner of Eye: Apply a charcoal grey shadow around the outer corner of the eye. Blend well.
4. Eye Liner: A very light touch of the same shade of charcoal that you used in step three.
5. Two light coats of black mascara on top and bottom lashes. Be very careful of clumps. These lashes should look like your own but a little better.
6. Blush: A soft strawberry pink
7. Lips: Outline lips with a natural lip pencil and then fill in with a soft maroon gloss.
8. The look is clean and light, but should make the green in your eyes come alive.
