Does any one know how to get the adress from someone with the licence plate number?

There is website, www.publicdata.com, where you can find the registered owner of a vehicle with the license plate. This always worked for me in Texas. I'm not sure how well it is for other states but it's worth a try. I think you have to create an account or pay a one time fee, it's not free.

you'd have to hire a private investigator or ask the police to do so.
