This morning at the doc they had a mix up and gave me a 3 hour glucose test instead of the one hour that i needed. I didnt care then, didnt feel sick at all, but 11 hours later I am feeling sick(to the point i stuck next to toilet, but didnt throw up), and really adrenalin rushed at times. In the past 3 hours I have started having contractions, some like labor and some little ole braxton hicks(i've had hicks for a while). I am 27 weeks and have had a history of past early labor. I have called my doc, but he is super busy, so I probably wont hear from him for another couple of hours. I dont want to go to the hospital cause I live a little far, and my hubby wont be avail for 30 min at soonest. My Q is what are the side effects of the 3 hour test, and when should they be felt? Does anyone know the actual perscription name of the common 3 hour test drink?
More info:baby is moving fine when i have hicks, but stops when I have hard ones. that does concern me, Baby is moving now.

I never dry heaved, that would obviously be a possible cause of contractions, but I did feel super green(i hate that). I have been sipping water, and then sipping sprite more recently. I took a shower, and that usually helps with any nausea i have, but it is still there. My husband says that i could have diabetees and am having reactions to the sugar levles now.
With the contractions and my kid not moving, i was told by another OB with my first kid that if i have hard contractions and the baby fails to move within 15 minutes of it, then go to hospotal, could be pinching cord, stopping blood suply. baby will move again after 10 min. So not terribly worried, but still. I told the call taker at my docs number everything, so i am hopeing to hear back soon. I was in the hospital so much with my first, i just dont want to be in there if i can help it with this one.
