When I took the course (8th grade so.. a while ago now) it was basically algebra on the small scale. Drilling in idea like variables and working up to graphing lines and finding slope etc. It's not that bad if you get a good grasp of it. I wouldn't be too worried as long as you are comfortable with your math skills up to this point. Best of luck nonetheless!

It's not that hard I took in the 6th grade. The key is to take lots of notes and make sure you practice. If there is a concept you don't understand, ask lots of questions until you do understand it. Mostly you will be working with variables and stuff like that.

Ya don't have to worry at all. Pre algebra is pretty easy stuff if you put in a little work and if you have any questions Yahoo answers is always there to help.:) Good luck

PRE-Algebra comes before Algebra, it's so easy, I'm assuming your taking the JH version of it.

Ummm....its not very hard i took it last year but i only thought it was hard because i had 2 take it in french.
right now i am in algebra and geometry.

its not that bad. i took it in sixth grade. my teacher was a sexist lesbien and hated all the guys but its still an easy class. pre calc is when it starts gettin tough

no...not in my 7th grade class (well we learned the same pre algebra stuff) and now i am taking it...i hate it that is just bc my teacher...but i think it is fine.. hopefully your teacher teaches good
