It came to me in a dream last night and seems perfect for my new baby. My partner hates it and wants to name the child Noothia after his cousin, but Noothia seems old fashioned to me.
Which would you choose Korgru or Noothia?

I am British, I live in Yorkshire. My family is all British and has lived here for at least 8 generations .

I hope you are kidding, because that is just soooo wrong. Both of those names are brutal!

Neither; unless you are in a part of the world where someone has heard these names before, the child will be made fun of to no end. However, if I'm totally in the dark and you live somewhere that these names ARE common, maybe pick one for the first name and one for the middle name??

They both seem quite strange. Korgru just sounds wrong. And Noothia is so weird. But at the end of the day, it's your choice.

If your asking me to choose, Noothia is probably the better one, but why would you name your baby ofter his uncle of all people? Don't they normally get named after their father or grandfather? Why not choose a name to make him his own person. Don't name him after anyone.

By the way, what does either of those names mean?

both are a little different if you're going for different well then they're a little too different. Personally I wouldn't pick either of them, but then again I'm not British maybe people over there give their kids those names but if I had to choose one I would pick Noothia. But where I'm from my kid would get made fun of if I gave them either of those names.

Are u crazy????? I am in the process of looking for names for my baby as well... but hell not even in the Caribbean we come up with weird stuff like this ... trust me your baby will be suicidal... have a conscience ...save a life..... Further more i lived in London working with children and i swear i have never heard any name as weird as this not even when the kids were of African parentage.

Sounds like names from Star Wars.

Don't do either to your child. Think of what they will go through. You shouldn't name your child something you know that they will most likely not be happy with just because YOU like the sound of it. Its not about you

Both names seem weird to me, but then again I don't know what culture/part of the world you're from. Those names may be normal where you're at-but it may be hard to get a job worth having for the kid when he/she grows up. Good Luck!

Sorry, but both names are awful. Korgru sounds too much like Corkscrew.....I can't think of anything that rhymes with Noothia, but she will be made fun of just the same....

im not going to sit here and tell you how dumb you are for wanting to name your baby these names.
i just want to say that they both sound a little too "made up" for me.
its your choice, but to be honest, i would think of a new name, both names could result in your kid being picked on.

What the hell is wrong with you guys? Doesn't matter what race you are. Make it prononceable and nice. korugu sounds like a kangaroo and noothia is just plain tacky kinda even sounds like Namibia.
