If your dreaming about someone that you knew that passed on it could be that you miss them and you reviving them through your dreams.

I don't know what it means in terms of the kind of dream interpretation that you can look up in a book, but when I dream about someone I love, who has passed on, I like to think they they are coming back to visit me. I don't necessarily believe that something supernatural is going on. But if the dead only live on in the hearts and minds of those who loved them, then the only way they can visit is through those hearts and minds. A dream is just a way to bring them back to life - even if it is just a dream.

It means the opposite if death, either a new baby, or about to get married, things like that. but to dream about a dead person, means a windfall of money for you

depends a lot on other things in the dream. on the surface i'd say the you wanted a visit.
