don't you feel bad for the guy?

he was the 1st overall pick in the 1993 draft

he got pounded in the superbowl 30, 35-21, throwing 4 picks and 2 tds in a loosing effort

the patriots sign him to a 10 year contract extension, and then a 6th round draft pick emerges after he's injuried, prompting the patriots to trade him the following season in favor of Tom Brady

he goes the bills doesn't do too well, they release him

goes to dallas gets sacked more

in 2006 they get T.O. and it seems like that will help him and cowboys, but it totally turns over. Then he gets saftied, throws int and get benched in favor of Tony Romo, who at the time of this way no-one, like Tom Brady back in 2001

after all this, he's back on the bench and he was a 1st overall pick

The guy has been taking a beating, i mean he's been sacked over 400 times

I got respect for the guy, but I still feel sorry for him

Same. But he had a nice run
I felt bad when they decided Brady would be starting up for QB in SB and he would be a substitute after being a Patriot Veteran for a long time and he goes to the Buffalo Bills with a contract and he later gets traded off to Cowboys and gets sacked alot more then he did on the Bills and then just benched.
Guys taking alot of hits just to get around...

you should keep Warner, the purely QB nicely worth thinking dropping him for might want to be Roethlisberger (there is an danger they bypass extra now even if that is unclear). Warner is in an offense which will score, the question is will or not it is Touchdowns or field objectives. The Cowboys offense hangs on the hamstring of Owens and the potential of the operating recreation to provide. purely searching at their divisions: Bledsoe- Washington, new york Giants, and Philadelphia ALL Have reliable defenses! Warner- St.Louis, 49ers, (have poor defenses) and Seattle has a reliable protection!

Well, i loved bledsoe.... but he was struggling and had some real bad luck - I was upset when he got hurt years ago against the jets and brady took over. Now, its happened to him again - you have to feel bad for the guy - but Hes in the NFL, which is probably a great feeling to be in the Pro's anyways. most athletes in this country will never make it that far... so i only feel bad for him to some extent.

I kinda feel sorry for him, he's had a good long career and he's a borderline hall of famer, but it may be time for him to hang 'em up.

By the way he didn't play in Super Bowl 30, that was the Steelers vs. Cowboys.

I do feel sorry for him, but I think the injuries that he sustained throughout his career are finally catching up to him. I was Watching Around the Horn. Marriati said that if you want to find the star on your bench sign Bledsoe

NO. He was struggling. In the NFL, you need to perform. He was not the best option for the Cowboys to win. Romo is. The end. P.S. Don't be sorry for him. He's a millionaire many times over.

I used to love Drew. Even back to his Cougar days. He's pretty high on the list for various stats. I feel he might have a couple more decent seasons left in him. Maybe for Detroit or Minnesota. Oh yeah, maybe Washington too.

You have to feel bad for the guy but just think....what about us..we never even get the chance to play college..let alone NFL and be in the superbowl. He is lucky if you think about it eventhough to him its horrible.

I do.....I kind of keep an eye on the pats when Bledsoe was around.....But when he was traded I stopped watching....I didn't like what happened to him there. .Plus I think Bledsoe is a real stand up guy.....I hated the way the Dallas fans treated him when he was pulled at half-time. Classless idiots!

Why would I feel bad for any benched NFL player? They are getting pay millions to sit there. Respect, I do have for him. But as for pettiness? Nope, I don't feel sorry for anybody who just have to sit there and get paid. Now, as for the children dying in Africa? for those, I do feel bad. For the innocent people dying in wars? I do feel bad.
