The only diet that will provide a more permanent solution is by changing your eating habits over the long term. Don't try to give up on just one kind of food cold turkey. In long term, your goal should be to switch to food that is more wholesome ( as less processed as possible) food - fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and lean meats. And you should pick your own pace rather than following some one else's prepared plan. For example, you can start by not eating meat in one of your meals everyday. Remember, long term detox will only be affective if you shift your eating habits to vegetables and fruits and other wholesome natural foods.
I know it is not so easy to make these habit changes. I suffered from binge eating habits once. After scores of crash diet, the only thing that worked for me (both for colon-detoxification and weight loss) was nice and slow change.

I don't take fiber so it just follows that I like brocoli,cauliflower,and baby carrots all together with Ranch dressing. If you overeat, yes the fiber goes through ya! But I don't think it will cure constipation- That's where i like orange juice .
