i have a gift exchange in my advisory in school. and i was wondering what do 12 year old girls like? i have to do the gift exchange and i don't know what to buy.......any tips or clues?

I would suggest:
Jewelry-something cool and funky, earrings or necklace or both
Make-up (although I don't know if 12 year olds wear make-up), you could get one of those big gift box things that has a bunch of different colors of eyeshadow & lip gloss. If you're not sure about the make-up thing, I think they also have gift boxes that have all different kinds of nail polish in it, that would be fun for a 12 year old.
A cute, matching set of hat, gloves & scarf.
A fancy journal and a set of cool, colored pens.
You could always go with a gift certificate if you're not sure. You can buy the mall gift certificates that are good at any store, or you could buy one from a music store, that way they could get a CD or DVD or something.

What about a game? They have that game, deal or no deal. Or, the game Scene It. That is an awesome gift to give. I got it for xmas last year and I am still undefeated. And I have 12 and 16 yr old sisters who love playing it with me. They have all different categories of games too. They have a Nickelodeon one and an ESPN one (for the guys I suppose) and a tv trivia one. It's great. Try it!
