I would take baths if my bathtub was big enough to cover my body up to my shoulders, kinda lika a hot tub. I can't stand to be in the mood for a bath and end up freezing my a*s off because I can't get all of my legs under the water or sit up with out freezing my boobs off. So I hardly ever take baths, just usually showers.
Oh, and if I DO decide to take a bath, I usually wait until the tub is full.

I prefer showers, but when I do take a bath I wait till it gets full because it's usually a bubble bath.

I don't get in when it's empty..it's too cold then..but I don't wait until it's full either, because I take into account that adding myself will make the water level go up...and the tub is warmer by then too..:)

Things are always changing. I have actually heard mixed things on this. When my son was born 4 almost 5 years ago, I was told not to give him a bath (other than sponge) until his umbilical cord came off. I was also told to use rubbing alcohol and a cotton ball to clean it until it came off. When my daughter was born (this past August). I was told not to do anything with the umbilical cord it would dry out and fall off on it's own. We did that and her umbilical cord fell off faster than my sons did. We were also told it was ok to give her baths as long as we made sure her umbilical cord stump was well dried off after wards. Or we could put her in an infant tub to bath her and just not submerge the umbilical cord stump underwater. I did whatever my doctor told me and both of my kids turned out fine :)

I start the water and put the bubbles in.....then I try to wait, but never make it....I get in when there's a couple of inches of water in the bottom.....by the time the tub is full..I'm done and wrinkly..
