I was reading an article in Allure about Cute, Pretty, and Sexy. ANd they said that most men prefer curves for procreation and sexual pleasure is this true? But how come so many men go out with those skinny model types?

The ones with uber-skinny girlfriends are mostly male celebrities with female celebrities. They're more like plastic entities than real people. So I think real men like curves better, as opposed to bones, skin, and lipgloss.

Curves / No curves. Men will usually be attracted by looks but if for a long relationship, it's the X factor that ticks and makes the relationship last.

Once Lord Chersterton said" The drunken English men made drunken roads" while travelling towards Chester from London. What did he mean by this? He was appreciating and admiring the curves of roads, going up and down, swing side to side and enjoying the beauty of countryside of London alongwith cool breeze.
If U study the literature of any language or any culture, there is much emphasis on curves and complexion. Lot has written and will be written on this topic.
Now considering the " skinny gals", its another chapter, Being skinny does not mean healthy. Most of skinny models or Hollywood celebrities are victom of Anorexia Nervosa.
Beauty is always associated with HEALTH.
Its very famous slang and quotation that' BEAUTY IS THE NAME OF PROPORTION.
So its proportionality which makes a person attractive and liked one.
The love, liking or any relationship based on only " OUTERSELF" will fade away sooner or later , as the outerself itself, with passage of time or aging. To a wise and mature man what matters; is "INNERSELF". Not just outlook.
And what about " CHARM"?
Its entirely separate entity and asset or plus different from curves and exerts magnetic and enchanting affects on others.
IF U HAVE IT , U HAVE IT.
You cannot have it or acquire it by being curvy or curvaceous or by being just skinny.( being skinny does not mean being curvaceous. Bony prominences are different form curves)
I do agree that different individuals have different tastes. KING FAROUQ of Egypt, the former ruler before Nasir Jamal, has more than 200 "CHUBBY AND BUXOM" women in his palace.
So individual variations do exist and exceptions are always there.
However, another factor which plays a role is AGE. Youngsters may go after just curves and a mature person may look for a package deal.
However, there is no exaggeration in it that most male will go after curves. May be, they like to enjoy ups and downs rather than just enjoying the flat and monotonous " plain". :) :)

Yes. I'm a guy and I love curves, smooth soft skin. And I think just the obvious curves are just one part. The curve of a women jaw and smooth chin line, curve of her lips, the curve of her eyes, eye brows, neck, heels of soft feet....there's so many more attractive elements of pretty girls. Everything about women are sexy.

Everyone has different preferences. I am a man who appreciates a woman with junk in the trunk big time. Some men prefer skinny women who weigh 100 lbs or less. So love the body that God gave you, and find solace in knowing that men are attracted to you.

yes and no. Just because a woman is a size 2 does not mean she doesn't have curves...
Thinness in our culture revolves around an 'idea' of youth.
I think sexy has a lot more to do with attitude and how you carry yourself. Sexy is in the way you hold and carry yourself and sometimes much deeper than just wearing a short skirt and heals.
I don't think its a matter of size of the girl then its about how she feels about her own sexual Aura.

Different tastes from different men but...
I used to be "model thin" when I met my hubby.
After years of a desk job, less chance to exercise etc., I got some curves. My husband actually told me he prefers me now, because before he thought I was TOO thin, but didn't want to hurt my feelings!

Yes all men have different tastes in women, I for one am not like all other men that think with their balls first. I look in a women's personality, and if you want to find true love then be sure to look for personality too.

A Happy medium is best. A thin girl with nice curves is the ideal for most men....including myself.

its all to do with dna and the fact that men are atracted to an hour glass shaped woman, and a woman to a broad shoulders small waisted man, but curves r hot, but the modles may be skinny but they are also very beaytiful.
