If you're in a car accident, do you pull over on the side of the road if you're able to, then call the cops, or do you just stop where the car accident happened, then call the cops?

If you're involved in a car accident, you are supposed to (if possible) move both vehicles from the traffic lanes (e.g off the road). If the vehicles are not able to be moved, they just stay where they are, try to get others that stop to signal oncoming drivers about the accident so as to not incur more incidents.

You pull off the road if possible, to prevent a traffic obstruction leading to further accidents. Witnesses, damage to the vehicle, and marks on the road assist with the investigation; leaving the vehicle in position is not safe.

most States will have posted signs instructing you to move your vehicle from the road. It would be highly recommend to do so if you are able. Remember how much you hate a traffic jam. Also the police will only tell you to move them when he arrives.

It all depends on the seriousness of the accident. If it's a fender bender move off the road, get the other driver's info (give them yours) and file a police report later. Serious accidents... don't move an inch. Wait for the police to arrive.

Don't know where you are, but in OK it is a law that you have to clear the traffic lanes, if no one is injured and your vehicle is movable.
