Grade Point Average of only 2.1 ? I don't think you will be able to get into any college with that low of a GPA. Sorry!

Well, it's going to be really hard for you to get in. Your GPA is very low when compared to the University standards. Most would like you to have a 3.0 or at least a 2.5.

Is there a reason for you low gpa? If so, make sure to include a personal statement with any reasoning. (They can tell if you lie.) Make sure that they know you well enough to write a good letter. Make sure to highlight any school or community involvement as well.

Also, to improve your chances, I would submit a few letters of recommendation from highschool teachers, coaches, employers, etc. You may also want to try retaking the ACT. A score of 22 isn't terrible, but if you can raise it, that might help the schools overlook you GPA. I think it also helps to visit the school and meet with the admissions officers and some of the faculty in your intended program. This shows that you are serious and want to attend the school.

Good luck!

Nope, you're going to need to go to a community college for awhile and get your gpa up. No 4 university will accept you. According to the Princeton Review the average incoming freshman at Ohio University has a 3.3 gpa.

really certain to OSU, and probably even a small scholarship. you should get into Miami, yet really no scholarship there (except the Ohio Resident scholarship.) I graduated from MU in 2005; I had a 4.0 GPA and a 32 on the ACT. i did not acquire an entire scholarship from MU.

Are you a star athlete? Are you a minority that is in demand? Do you bring something else to the school that they would want? Then possibly.
