i have the type of eyeliner thats like a stick of eyeliner in a plastic tube & its retractable. i really hate the fat lines it draws when its not sharp, so i always use a pair of scissors to shape it into a point so the line is fine. is there a better way to sharpen my eyeliner?

Chill it in the fridge, then carefully sharpen it by laying the whole pencil on it's side, but with the color stick end at a slight angle. Rub gently on a piece of paper. You waste a lot less this way.

One tip is to use a dispenser. You can get a pen. The tip
pen is used and some have various size control. It is found
at barbee stores, and those kind of sales. The pen is adjusted
to keep the tip small, sharp and flawless when using quick kit.
