How would a nonconsequentialist decide whether or not to be a pacifist?

A nonconsequentialist does not consider the full potential of their actions until after the fact. A pacifist avoids most action in order to remain a peace-keeper. One must decide to become a pacifist, or just remain indifferent.

Put him in a war zone, with one obvious side over another - consequence will soon follow, once pacifism is out the window.
