i belw the engine in my 97 rs and found a place to get an engine from an eclipse spyder the gsx and a complete rebuild kit for under $1000 and i just need to know if 1 its a possible swap and 2 is there any special adjustments or parts or anything ill need to do to fit it in and bolt it up

Yes it is possiable the only things that you might have to change would be the motor mounts it shouldn't be very hard neither.

wrong...first off the second gen spyder was only a gst not a gsx. but to answer your question the motor will bolt directly up but u will need the ecu and wiring harness from the 4g63 motor. other than that you should really have no problems. make sure that it will bolt into the tranny first. also brakes and suspension will prob be a required with this

You can put a V8 in there with enough time and effort but why would you do that? The RS doesn't have brakes or suspension designed to deal with the performance of the GSX engine.
