If you right click on the little ZA icon on the lower right side of the screen a menu pops up with the option "Shut down ZoneAlarm" at the bottom.

Alternatively, you can open up the ZoneAlarm program either double clicking the icon or going to the the Start menu, All Programs, Zone Lab, Zone Lab Security. When the window opens up, there will be a big red STOP button near the top and you can click that.

Their are two ways you can do this. You can right click on the Zone Alarm icon near the clock and then select shut down Zone Alarm. The other way is to double click on the icon, to the left select firewall tab, turn both security settings off, to disable firewall. Thats it, I would recommend doing it the other way first if your trying to install software that doesn't let you install with a firewall on.

oh man, this is the worst program I have ever used. I bought the ZA pr and I had to go into it and manually give over 200 programs priviledges...was too much of a headache, I use McAffee's Firewall. Much more user friendly. But if you right click on the ZA icon, there should be a way to disable it.

Right click on the ZA icon on your taskbar and at the bottom select "shutdown Zone alarm." It will come back when you reboot.

Good Luck
