Let's say someone stare at you (and you stare back) repeatedly and periodically even Smiles while staring at you.

How much body language is given in simple Eye contact between two individuals?

How should such behavior be interpreted??--- A sign of Attraction and Interest???----Mere Curiosity and nothing else??---A combination of all these???

It doesn't have to have anything to do with romantic attraction. Without any other info, I wouldn't assume someone that kept staring at me was interested in me or even curious about me--I might have a pine cone tangled in my hair, like a friend of mine did once (at choir practice, no less.)

Depending on how easily embarrassed you are, you might want to go over and ask why they keep staring at you, or otherwise initiate a conversation. First, though, make sure there are no obvious weirdnesses in your appearance that might be making your "secret admirer" grin.

Eye contact should be made even in non-romantic situations. It shows respect and that you care and are paying attention. I personally have a problem maintaining eye contact. It's something I need to work on. But you should maintain eye contact in business affairs, when talking with friends, teachers, police officers, etc.

I think that in one study, males are found to be more likely to interpret eye contact with them as a sign of (romantic/sexual) interest. I don't know if this is the result of evolution or biological mechanisms, a product of culture, or both.

"The eye is the window to the soul!" Heard that one? That look will kill and can set a thousand ships to sea! So don't deny yourself and her. Take the opportunity to follow up on that eye contact and make it happen! Good luck and cheering for you!

this is obvious. if someone stares at you (this is the truth) they either think you are really pretty, really ugly, or really weird. hopefully it is the pretty one. you should talk to them and get to know them and maybe he will ask you out or something.
