The man is over 80 years of age, besides is a human being, remember, the mere fact he was a president doesn't mean he is a robot or made of steel, elder people have the tendency to cry more often, and as time catch up with you and me, we will be doing the same thing, cry in public or in private, doesn't matter..☺

It should not be a sign of weakness because the Current and Former President are people too.

Why does that matter? The person is still human. I would much rather have someone at the helm who is man enough to show emotion than someone like Machmood Amadineajad who,for all intent and purpose seems to be void of ANY kind of emotion, save that of evil.

Of course it is fine as long as it isn't a sign of giving up something or showing weakness. When George H. Bush cried earlier, he was talking of one of his sons and his life. He was remembering something of one of his children. I thought it showed that he was human and not just some government figure that has no emotions. In a way, it gave me much more respect to George H. Bush just because it assured me that he is human.

i think that if he is genuinely moved by an event, for example 9/11, then it can be inspiring for his country. i don't think it should be seen as a sign of weakness.
