For me, I'd choose Alabama. Friendlier people, more diverse scenery, the Gulf, better colleges, and a more laid-back culture than Kentucky. Birmingham is a cool town, too.

Kentucky, in its own right, is still beautiful.

Never been to Alabama so I would have to say Kentucky. Pretty state and I always had a great time when I was there.

I would choose Kentucky but since I'm from Tennessee and could see the Great Smokey Mountains in the other end of the state I guess I'll stay here.

i go there almost every year, its pretty cool. never been to alabama but sounds pretty cool.
