Not all people defend Israel, but most AMERICANS defend Israel. I think there are two reasons:

1) Christians in America are dumb enough (excuse my French) to believe that Jews are God's chosen people, so that they deserve special treatment;

2) Jews in America, and also Israeli lobbyists in America, are very powerful and they can fund whoever they like.

Hitler's crimes against the Jews have frequently been justified in Arab writings and pronouncements. In the 1950s, Minister Anwar Sadat published an open letter to Hitler, hoping he was still alive and sympathizing with his cause. Important Arab writers and political figures have said Hitler was "wronged and slandered, for he did no more to the Jews than Pharaoh, Nebuchadnezzar, the Romans, the Byzantines, Titus, Mohammed and the European peoples who slaughtered the Jews before him." Or that Hitler wanted to "save ... the world from this malignant evil..."

It is indeed ironic that the "Palestinians" demand their rights as "Palestinians." The term Palestine was give by Titus to the land of Judea & Samaria when the Romans wanted to obliterate a Jewish connection to their homeland. He turned to his historians and asked who was the worst enemy of the Jews. When Titus learned the worst enemy was the Philistines, he renamed the place Palestine or Philistine. Unknown to Titus and the "Palestinians" of today is the fact that the word Philistine means invader in Hebrew. Look at the irony the invading Moslem Arab nomads are demanding their rights as "Palestinians." We demand our rights as "invaders!" We are Palestinians, we demand our rights. We are "invaders," we demand our rights. How religion plays into this dynamic of deceit is now becoming readily apparent.

1) The majority of Israelis are not of European ancestry. More were refugees from Arab & other Muslim countries.
2) We were in the middle east long before the term "Arab" existed. Read the Bible. How many times are Arabs mentioned?
3) What's with "White"? Arabs are also caucasion.
4) Why do you hate Jews?

it is obvious? Jews can't own land, just Arabs? People defend Israel because it is one of the few countries over there that doesn't promote its citizens to strap on bombs and kill civilians. Would u rather support the terror-run Palestinians?

The same reason people defend you. You are a person who has beliefs and are entitled to express them. You may not agree with the Jewish community, but that does not mean that they are less of a person than you. If they were consistently violating human rights and international treaties, than they would have to be dealt with, as is being done now with their current stance on Lebanon and Palestine.
