Never. Racial slurs are never ok. NEVER! They are still disrespectful.

Honestly I don't belive that anyone of any race should use the "n" word. It is a horrible word used back in the day by white surprimisy groups (sorry about the spelling) but anyhow I don't think that anyone now should have the right to use it. I think that it is one word that should just be forgotten. I mean not to long ago a white english teacher got suspending and into some serious trouble for telling a black student. "Get away from the door, *****". I just don't think it's appropriate in any situation. Not even from one black guy to another.

It's funny, but a week or so ago when Michael Richards was saying the N word at some night club to some hecklers, Jesse Jackson got into the fray and was on TV saying the N word several times. The funny part was that it was bleeped when he said it.
Now I'm really confused... Jesse can say the N word, but I'm not allowed to hear it?
I don't really like censorship. What ever happened to freedom of speech?

I don't think it's acceptable for anyone to use it, that word is a reminder of pain for African Americans and I think that there are a lot of stupid people out there of all races (who are not black) that use the word ni99a and ni99er all the time and it's wrong, and by the way I think it's perfectly acceptable for blacks to use that word, because it's totally different when they use it and it's also used as an affectionate word amongst themselves and people of other races too.
Good question!

It is never acceptable for any one to use the "n" word, otherwise known as the big N. Anyone who uses this word simple debases himself or herself. Jesus said in Mark 11;23 you are going to have what you say.

I think that the "n" word has divided into two words. "-er" is the original word, and has always carryed the connotation of bigotry and hatred. "-a" has become a word used by black people to signify a form of brotherhood. Personally, I do not feel comfortable using either, and though I know some white friends who do use "-a", i don't agree with its usage- by either group. I think it should be either used or not, by both ethnicities.

No. Lots of things can become acceptable by others if exposed long enough to them, however that does not make them polite. (In Nigeria, the 'n' word is only used for foreign born ones.)

No, are you in the USA? as it is unusual over here in the UK, and only used by people using this word as an offensive term. these are people we refer to as the plebs of society!
So your answer is no!
