How can I stop having so much anxiety towards my job? Everytime I have to take a personal day off or have to call in sick..I keep thinking that I am either in trouble or that I will get fired if I do that. I dont know why... I also get anxiety over money, or over any bad situation- no matter if it is even a big deal or not. I even get anxiety attacks. I hate it!!!
Also, I am so overly sensitive that I cant stand it anymore and other people cant stand it either. I have lost friends because of this. I get so emotional over the stupidest things, overreact, and jump to conclusions. I need to know why and how I can fix these things. I am sure that this is a part of me but I want to change it and not be so sensitive anymore.
No mean answers please

I used to be like that. I started asking myself, what's the worst thing that can happen? and soon realized I could live with or get over whatever could happen.

This will sound so cliche but you just described my working life for the last 27 years at large corporations where you cannot relax for one minute because someone is always behind you in one way or the other. Then, if you have the slightest tendency to fret about things or be overly critical of yourself, you have the makings of being a perpetually stressed out type A personality who can NEVER relax. Oh yes, I did end up on Effexor and it
really helped. Also excercise. Do not be afraid to change your situation. Change is good. Wish I had done it a lot sooner in my career.

These are complicated concerns and I doubt if anyone is going to be able to give you an answer that will sort things out for you. All I can tell you is that your problems are not uncommon. Lots of people have similar feelings. Anxiety is a problem that responds well to treatment. A good psychologist or counsellor can help you find strategies to manage your anxiety. Usually this will involve helping you catch the thoughts you have which contribute to your anxiety and then altering them. Lots of times, people's anxiety tends to build on itself - you get a spiraling out of control kind of thing going. If you learn to catch it and stop it early in the process, it can be very helpful. Being overly sensitive may also involve your way of thinking and it will may also be helpful to learn how to change the thoughts that lead to your over-reacting and jumping to conclusion. Again, a good psychologist or therapist can help. Good luck! I wish you all the best.
