i dont understand when claire bennets dad told sylar that his powers wont work in that room but yet he killed eden thru the glass did i miss something ?

Well considering that Sylar has stolen the powers of so many different mutants it isn't too much of a surprise that Mr Bennet underestimated him. Sylar could have just been biding his time?
Truth be told we don't know Mr. Bennet's full story. Is he a good guy, is he a bad guy? Maybe he purposely let Sylar go?
or maybe it has something to do with Mr. Bennet's companion that can block mutant abilities. If he was containing Sylar's ability why was he with Claire erasing her memory?
Either that or it's a plot hole that will be discussed and argued about for seasons to come.
We'll just have to wait for January to see!

I think that was the point. The show gives you questions before answers to keep you hooked. Perhaps he is something like magneto and can control metal like the gun because he used that to break the glass. As far as the Hatian stoping him I don't think that's the case, the haitian just stops things in the brain and since that is the cop's powers he can't read anything. I bet Mr. bennet will want answers when he finds out so someone will explain what happened when the show returns. Or he might be too powerful to keep in there because he has so many powers.

I got two theorys:
1) The Haitian, who can stop pwers, left the bulding to erase Claire's mind, therefore Sylar can use his powers on Eden, friend of Prof. Suresh
2) Sylar wanted Mr. Bennet to think he has control over Sylar and used his powers after Mr.Bennet is on the road and discovered Eden has power of persuasive.

I'm taking it as his powers wouldn't work when HE was there. Something to do with either Claires' dad or that black guy that works for him makes people unable to use their powers. Remember the cop can't read their minds, he can only hear static. So one of those two (for some reason) makes their powers useless.

Honestly, I loved this show in the beginning... but, it became too draining.Sadly they lost me after they saved the cheer leader. Shame! If you like heroes though, I think you will like the new "BattleStar Galactica". the show just ended, minus four more episodes... BUT it was Great while it lasted!

Yeah, they need to explain that better.
Hopefully when the new seasons rolls around they will reveal more answers.
