By offering free welfare and food stamps to anyone who will vote for them?

Since the "welfare state" was created by Democrats in the 60's they have been breeding welfare democrat voters by the millions.
When you couple that to the fact that now over 50% of the voters in this country are now suported by or employed by city, county, state or federal governments (or in their retirement plans). What happens to the working mans vote?

A famous Frenchman said something to the effect that no democracy can survive when the citizenry of that democracy figure out thet they can vote themselves largesse from thier own treasury. It follows that the party or individual that tends to vote the largest amounts of money to the people will garner the most votes. It may not be bribery but if it looks like a duck, quacks like a duck. It must be a duck!

Not that republicans don't try to "bribe" people for votes either, but yes, I think Democrats purposely prop up social welfare programs to boost their voting numbers. That's why they like targeted tax cuts. In fact, FDR said he knew Social Security would be successful and demanded by people b/c he knew that once people paid in, and then got old enough to collect, they'd demand it. That's why the Dems want illegal immigrants in this country. It's a huge voting block.

I am a swing voter, I vote for what ever candidate I see best fit for the job, not by watching commercials but by actual research. I voted Republican this year why...because Democrats are vowing to cut the family tax credit in this horrendous economy. I am not sure if Dems are bribing rather saying what their base voters want to hear and excluding what they do not want them to hear, but this is done by all parties.

Yes they are, and somewhat of a surprise to me is the way all those DEAD people are convinced to vote Democrat, and vote 2 or 3 times each election!!

No... because not everyone who votes democrat gets welfare or foodstamps. (Hollywood Liberals, etc..)

But what do parties do these days except give away to the people who vote for them only to end up being corrupt and selfish anyway?

Republicans are guilty of pandering to evangelicals by saying they will stop abortion. All politicians are the same, doesn't matter what party they are from. Not all people vote for Democrats based on those things.

winning votes with bribery,do you mean they are paying more for votes then the other party,that's how they are winning them.
