When looking for an office job do they stress proper typing technique? I only type with 2-3 fingers but I do that very efficiently. If I'm copying something to do the computer, I hit about 60 wpm, but when I'm typing straight from my mind to the keyboard, I'm in the neighborhood of 80 and 90 wpm. Is there an easy way to learn proper technique?

Is there any easy way to learn the proper technique? In a word - no. It takes practice - lots of it. You might try getting an old keyboard that still works and black out the letters and numbers. That's how I was taught.

well it deends how long yu have used that technique personally i do the exact same thing as you . It really dosnt matter to me if other people think that i typepe weird but in you case you might want to change your typing skill it will take sometime and your WPM will drop by a lot for a while until you get fluent that measn hard workj

buy a typing program anytime you type try to refrain from your normal typing and type the right way
