I had to get a new computer because an old room-mate gave me the "porn virus" and completely killed my hard drive. I'm a little afraid of letting anything in that way.

You don't have to remove it, sometimes you can temporarly disable it. One of the easiest ways is to hold the ctrl key down while you are clicking on a link that will open in a new window. I don't know what software you use but if you go the the settings in the blocker you can usually add safe sites that you want to allow pop-ups from. Hope this helped ;-)

Yes, but only if your looking for somthing that is a popup if your not their is absoultly no reason for you to remove the poup blocker because in some ways it can help you and in others it will be no use.
