What colors are appropriate (or not appropriate) for each season?

I'm 22, and I just started paying attention to fashion, so I NEED help! Ok I stay in michigan, so we have all four seasons. For example, colors such as peach and yellow are more appropriate for spring/summer; brown and evergreen are more appropriate for fall/winter. I've looked online for more details as to whats considered "faux pas" to no avail:( Any help would be excellent!

In fashion anything is now allowed, in Winter we used to only wear winter white, but now you can wear any color, even pinks and baby blues. I love to wear black and I don't care whether it's Summer or Winter, I just pair it with white slacks in the Summer and black or Grey in the Winter, right now it's browns and pink, last year it was brown and turquoise. Go with your instincts, check out what the stores have to offer color wise and go by that.
A faux pas you can find in the shoes, even though you can now wear white shoes after labor day, but you can't wear them in the Winter, although you can buy white boots. Reds are nice in the Winter because they seem to brighten your skin.

For spring you definitely want to wear florals and pastels. Go for lilac or baby blue which is reminiscent of the newly sprung flowers. For the summer go for slightly darker colors but still light. In the fall purple and burgandy and rose are the major colors. For the winter, you should make your clothes slightly darker than fall.

for the winter season, you want to wear deeper and more serious colors like brown, gray or navy blue. once in a whille, lighten up and dress according to your mood.

well accutually in winter u should wear: red, blue, brown, green, white, or black. In the spring u need to wear" aqua, pink, baby blue, orange, or purple. In the summer u need to wear: red, orange, hot pink, navy blue, green, or tan. In the fall u need to wear: green, red, orange, red, brown, tan, mellow orange. Good Luck !
