It's finals week for me too.... and I ignore the need for study and go online to Yahoo Answers and answer people's questions.... instead of studying of course! ;o)
Seriously, study hard, but take breaks. Make sure you take time to eat and don't study while eating. It gives you a little time to relax, and then get back to work. Make sure you get enough rest.
Best Wishes,
Sue

Here is a tip, and the only one you will ever need: If you have been studying all semester and reading the information you are supposed to read, then the final exam should be a piece of cake.
I hear people complain all the time about final exams. Why? If you've been doing all the studying and work along the way, then there should not be a problem.

Physical exercise will help quite a lot and that will also make you sleep better too. Go for a brisk walk for 30 minutes in the late afternoon every day. Also keep hydrated in the days leading up to the exam so you don't suffer headaches and tiredness at the worst times. Study hard and build up confidence in yourself for the exams and it will pay off when the time comes. Don't take any kind of drugs or medication if you can help it because their side effects will give you additional problems.

I know this sounds strange but I found that when I was studying for my toughest exams it helped if I went through my information with a highlighter and a bag of Doritos. I would highlight the most important info. and go through that several times, then I figured that I shouldn't stress out about it because then I wouldn't do as well and my attitude was "if I know it, I know it, if I don't, I don't" after a certain point.

Stress... What stress? After 4 semesters I've learned alot about finals (and alot from my doctor)... Don't procrastinate studying and if you do... buy alot of RedBull and stay up late! Get to know your professors, it always helps to have a professor know your name when they are deciding to bump a grade that's borderline (trust me, I know). Also, don't try to find and easy way out, like a magic formula to memorise the pathway of kidney function... If you draw it out, you'll have a mental picture of it. If the stress gets to bad, you can always go to a doctor and see what they have to say. Test anxiety is a real thing and they can help you cope.

Being Positive: The stress arises basically out of fear that you might not perform well. So, to beat that, "Think Positive".
Self Motivation: If you have prepared well for the exams, tell yourself that you are ready to face even the tough questions. There is no need to fear having done justice to preparation.
Rest: You need decent rest for your mind to work. So dont burn midnight oil.
Food: Eat sumptuous food. Dont starve during exams. That will trigger headaches and depression.
Finally, pray for luck.
Best of luck. !!

you need to exersize a little bit. your body creats stress as a chemical and it is relased by phisical exertion. walk around campuss or go out and through a ball for 15 min. you will feel much better and study better as well.

Lay ou a schedule for yourself. WRITE IT DOWN. We all have our schedule in our minds but writing it down will clear things...then, you keep to the schedule and will probably get more done. Be disciplined. Cross things off as you tackle things.
