Hey, I have already decided on UVA and Johns Hopkins and have applied. I'm looking into a medical degree. As a safety school I applied to GMU and got in. Now I am not fully sure if I can get into UVA or JHU, can you guys please recommend one other school to apply to, just to rest my mind. I really don't wan to go to GMU, too close to home. o ya its gotta in VA.

I go to JHU, it's great. But also look into George Washington or Georgetown. Both have great pre-medical reputations. By the schools you are looking at, I should say you have a good chance at either one of the two I recommended.

It sounds like you want to be close to Northern Virginia, just not too close. If so, consider Medical College of Virginia, at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond. I know most people don't usually think of VCU as a top school, but for medicine they're very well regarded. Good luck!

I am at the University of Louisville School of Medicine and I love it here. There is at least one person in my class who went to UVA for undergrad.
