BEFORE I BEGIN: PLEASE FORGIVE MY GENERALIZATIONS AND STEREOTYPES

I have a crush on a certain guy (very SEXY man), but due to recent events, I have put my "Gay-dar" on for him:

On a typical day, he usually stares AND smiles at me for long periods of time

However, he really "connects" with WOMEN---as in I see him with more women friends who really admire him than men friends

He's very Sensitive ("abnormally" sensitive) ---it's almost as though he "understands" women

I've seen him put his hands on his hips (once)

I've seen a small instance of a "gay-bounce" in his stride/walk

I've seen him at one point cross his legs like a woman an clasp his hands over his knees

Recently, He's been avoiding me---there was a trip that our club/organization went on, and he talked to and said goodbye to everyone BUT me.

HOWEVER,

I have'nt really detected anything in his voice (although it's quite tender and SEXY!!!--I might add)

ARRRGGHH!!!!! He has such a great personality and sense of humor.

No problem with gay people but, ALL I KNOW:

--Is that as a woman, it SUCKS!!!---To have a crush on a man whom you later find out is gay!!---especially if the dude is drop-dead gorgeous

Listen. I think he is just a sensitive guy. It doesn't mean he is gay.
He is non-gay as long as you don't see him kissing and fooling around with a male... :)))

I had a close friend like that... almost 100% fits your description! He was no gay. Don't make up any prejudice before you don't know for sure.

Maybe he is shy or something, who knows. Maybe he is into you and afraid to say. Who knows.

But anyway, from your description... he is no gay, I'd say.
Cheers.

I agree with Mrs. Canary. But you shouldn't ask him as suggested by someone else because many gay people are sensitive about it and don't want it public knowledge. Anyway, you'd be saying he is effeminate and if he's straight that can be a real insult.

ok well my bestfriend introduced me 2 one of her friends in january who works in a resturant i kinda felt he was gay but i just didn't want to ask him out of the blue even though i just met him i kinda felt that crush feeling inside me but i wasn't sure if i should feel this way. so my bestfriend tells me he's bisexual and i said so he'll tell me himself when he's ready which he did in july even though he's bisexual and i have a crush on him we're still friends.

you are "crushing" over him way to much if you have to ask this question - sorry to be blunt but you just need to ask him. it will solve months of worry and frustration and get it all out in the open - best of luck.

If he is interested in you, he will approach you.

If you like him, be his friend. Friends confide in friends and you will get your answer soon enough.

If, after you have become frends, and he IS Gay, what's the big deal? You liked him before, you should still like him after.

He is either gay, or thinks he has money.
