All mammals are vertebrates so they have spines. The end of the spine is extended by many into a tail that may or may not be useful. Where there is no tail, there are often embryonic remnants, which like gills can hark back to before the mammals came along. The DNA to make a tail is probably contained in most mammals, expressed or not.

Humans are mammals...so do you have a tail?? You cant classify all mammals by saying they have tails..lol because its not true.

No, not all mammals have tails. Humans are mammals, and they dont have tails. we have tail bones, but no actual tail.

technically i think so! Even us humans have TAIIL bones. i dont know if that counts. But if it doesnt then no humans are mammals and most of us dont have tails!

Most do, except for the Great Apes. Even then we have rudimentary structures at the base of the spine, analogous to a tail.
