As long as John Cena's Merchandise is among the top selling at WWE shopzone, then we are stuck looking at his lame character. At least he is not rapping in the ring anymore. His rapping is worse than Jericho's singing which is pretty bad as well. what is it that makes pro wrestlers want to be rock stars?

I agree with you. I hate his act, however his skills have surprised me. I was sure he was get his *** kicked back at Wrestlemania. He has been in the ring with pretty good technicians like for example Kurt Angle and has been able to hold his own. But like you said; he's not even half as cool as he thinks he is.
In mi opinion, the best wrestler in WWE right now is King Booker

wrestling-wise, he is one of the 5 worst wrestlers on Raw
But 11 yr girls have lots of allowance money. That buys a lot of dumb cena shirts with dumb catchphrases
