I did not like my boyfriend's dog either. I just ignored it and waited. All day while he was at work, the dog was lonely- I was at home but still the dog was lonely, because I ignored it. So it ate his speakers, and some newspapers, and drug nasty things from other people's garbage into our yard. When he got home, he'd have to deal with it. Well, we don't have that dog anymore.

There is a saying....love me, love my dog.

Dogs are not parasites that do nothing. Dogs give to us much more than we ever give them.

Is it really the dog or is there something going on here??

well you should tell ur wife how you feel first of all and then you two can sit down and try to come to some sort of compromise. and try to work it out. you love your wife so you can try and work it out right? uh right? uh i dont hear you! ha ha come on you know you can work it out. just talk it over and be patient with a resolution because you know it is her dog. I hear ya... I can't stand my husband's dog... But it's not like they live forever. Just ignore it. Kick it if it comes too close, it will quickly learn to stay away.
