No, that's ridiculous.
I also think people are nuts that believe those wild conspiracy theries they see from the liberal media.

Osama Bin Laden was late comer to the Afghan war who helped in capturing a town in the north. The CIA funded and supplied the Muhajadin. No one needed to know to hijack a plane to fight the the Soviets

The CIA (thus theUSA) in its fight to counteract communism in post WWII, either created or supported a lot of Leaders that later on turned out to be monsters. Saddam is just the most famous one and probably not the most notorious. If The American people knew a little more of the world's history, they would at the least understand why they are not liked in some countries.
I am in no manner justitying terrorism , but the CIA had to know, that payback was on its way.

Well the U.S government (in the 80's) turned the Mujahadeen in Afghanistan from a disorganized group of rebels to a well trained and well armed group to fight the Soviets....then Bin Laden and other associates didnt want anymore Westen interference in Islamic matters...but the U.S still had bases in Saudi Arabia and other Muslim states after the Soviet - Afghan war...so to make a long story short....Al Queda declared war on the U.S and its Allies..then 9/11...so taking all that into account...the U.S government did have a role in 9/11...maybe not directly.....but definitely indirectly....because they trained Al Queda in the Soviet War..... remember....what you reap is what you sow....and the U.S situation could be helped greatly if they stopped supporting blindly supporting Israel...that is a major problem because Israeli forces commit terrible acts against Muslims and the U.S still support them...which infuriates the muslims in the troubled regions...

Nothing at all, unless you count the fact that Jimmy Carter all but disassembled the CIA during his administration, and aided the fall of the Shah of Iran, which aided the rise of Islamofascism in the world.
The fact is that the US aided Afghanistan in their war against the Soviet union by training the Mujahadeen, of which OBL was a member. Usually when a country helps you fight your oppressors, you thank them, not blow up their buildings and kill their people. But who can understand the mind of an Islamic fanatic?

I think that analogy is absurd to say the least. Great idea from a government, purposely damage the economy, kill thousands of people, and endanger your political career. I don't see the sense in such a thing.

Personally, I'm a strong proponent of governmental and corporate incompetence. A conspiracy of stupidity is far easier to maintain than a conspiracy of treachery.
