How far along should you be before it is appropriate to throw a baby shower?

Towards the end of your pregnancy, especially if you are finding out the sex. I would say to do it sooner rather then later though. Beggining of your 7 month is good. I know that I had mine at almost 8 months and I just made it bc little guy came early... THE NEXT DAY! haha It doesnt happen often, I know, but keep it in mind I guess. I had mine a month before my due date. So my due date was january 4 so I had my baby shower december 4. I did my baby shower in a mexican theme. I had mexican food and different stuff. Its was really fun.

I had mine when I was 7 months. I think 7-8 months is about the average time to have it. Congrats!

you normally throw a shower around the 7th or 8th month of pregnancy

7-8 months, but not too far into the eighth month. at that point that mom to be, might not feel very attractive and not feel like being very pretty. as we get closer to having our babies, nothing is as easy as it use to be, i.e. loading and unloading the gifts and setting them up.

i would say pretty far along so people know whether ur having a boy or a girl
