FIRST DAY OF MY LAST PERIOD WAS OCT 10...AND I AM UNSURE OF THE DATE OF CONCEPTION. I BEGAN CRAMPING LAST WEEK, STARTED SEEING A BIT OF PINK SPOTTING 3 DAYS AGO WHENEVER I WENT TO BATHROOM.. 2 DAYS AGO I STARTED SEEING RED/MUCUSY STUFF WHEN I WIPED... YESTERDAY I BEGAN TO SEE MORE BLOOD, DARK RED WITH CLOTS... CRAMPING WAS WORSE. WENT TO ER WAS TOLD THEY COULD SEE THE SACK BUT COULDNT FIND A HEARTBEAT, THEY DIDNT KNOW WHETHER ITS TOO EARLY TO SEE OR IF BABYS NOT FORMING CORRECTLY SO THEY LABELED IT A THREATENED MISCARRIAGE.... ANYWAY I NOTICED THAT THE BLEEDING/CRAMPING ONLY OCCURS AT NIGHT AND WITH A FEVER. ANYONE HAVE THIS HAPPEN TO THEM? I WILL BE SEEING MY OBGYN THIS WEEK TO SEE IF MY HCG LEVELS HAVE GONE UP BUT I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW MORE OF WHAT I SHOULD EXPECT... WILL THIS DEFINITELY END IN A MISCARRIAGE?

I would like to add that I have been staying off my feet since I started cramping.... I only get out of bed when needed. I find it odd that these symptoms are only occuring at night.

If u had cramps with blood clots and fever it was probably a miscarriage. There is a tiny chance it could be something else but this is what i experienced when i had a miscarriage at 7-8 weeks. By this time they should have seen a baby in your uterus if it was viable. U most likely passed the baby already and now just an empty sac remains. When u pass blood clots alot of times thats when u pass the embryo..from experience... Good luck with your doc appt and hope u feel better..

I had the same thing happen to me. I started to wipe pink, then red strands and it slowly get more and more red. Soon I was hemorraging. I know the exact moment the embryo was expelled but it was like my mind would not comprehend what I was seeing. I know I remember seeing it happen but I cant remember the details as my mind has blocked it out. I do know that the embryo is expelled before all of the blood. I also remember that my symptoms just disappeared. I no longer had sore nipples, no longer had blue veins on my chest, no longer had any nausea.. it was all gone. Sorry TMI but you are looking for info.
I lost so much blood that I was in the ER on Ivs and about to get a transfusion. It is so early to tell anything but I would expect that its going to get worse. I have heard bleeding is ok as long as there are no clots. Clots are a bad sign and so are the cramps. It hurt SO bad to miscarry inside and out. I feel for you hon. Try to avoid anything with aspirin, like advil. Take tylenol and stay off your feet and do as the other poster said and take some Iron if you have it. If it helps, I conceived my son a few weeks after the miscarriage and he is now 2. I look back and know I'd rather have a miscarriage if the baby wasn't healthy and get pregnant again later on and have a healthy baby. If this one is not healthy, there is nothing you can do about it now. It's unfortunate, but you will make it through.
I'll pray for you as well. Don't give up hope until they tell you the verdict, but you should be monitored atleast to watch your blood levels.

First day of my last period was October 13. I don't ovulate on regular schedules like some so I am 6 weeks 2 days today. It may be to early to see a heartbeat, but if you are bleeding like you say you are then more than likely you are going to miscarry. you need to go back to the ER and have a physical done, to see if your cervix is open or what the case may be. I have been through 3 miscarriages and I know how hard and devastating it can be. Good luck and get your butt to the ER now!

you usually don't notice much during the day because you are walking around and moving etc.. which could be why you are noticing these pains more often at night when your body is trying to rest!
bleeding with clots is definately a bad sign when you are pregnant.
sometimes a heart beat cannot be found until around 10 weeks of pregnancy. if i were you i would get as much rest as i can and try not to stress to much baby's feel your stress and it does affect them.
drink plenty of fluids and keep your iron up to try and help you and baby.
on the other hand a friend of mine had the same symptoms as you and she ended up being ok and a few months later she gave birth to a healthy baby boy, so there is still hope for you if u make sure u rest!..
but please make sure you go to the hospital or your Dr again i have had one miscarriage and the only way they knew for sure that i lost my baby was through an ultrasound. and a blood test showed my HCG levels went down.
good luck sweety i know how tough it can be..
i'll pray for u and baby

Girl this is not something to put on hold. They shouldn't have let you leave the hospital, i don't want to worry you but there's a great chance that you're having a miscarriage. Please i advise you to go back to ER as soon as possible, right at this minute if you can.
Good luck and take care.

Please go back to the hospital and check yourself in. And do not let them send you home until you are seen by a OB/GYN doctor. They need to run all kinds of tests and an ulrasound. I will pray to God that the baby and you are okay. Like I said please don't let them send you home. Please tell them you will sue them if they send you home and you loose the baby.
I will pray for you. Good LUck! Stay strong.
