He was out almost the whole World Cup.
He didn't play after the WC for almost two months.
He got injured last month, and now, after surgery, is going to be out for 3 months!
Do you think it's somebody's fault or just bad luck?

I know he'll only be 34, but with so many injuries, he may not be functional in 4 years.

He cannot help being injured however at his age it makes one question his ability to remain fit and injury free. On going and recurring injuries have been the end of many careers prematurely. Hopefully that will not be the case for Nesta.

The poor guy has been having nothing but bad luck, he's an awesome player and too bad he wasn't able to play in the world cup otherwise we would of really kicked ***.
He's only 30 so by the next world cup he'll be 34 he should be able to play unless he decides to retire!
I hope he doesn't he's a great asset to the Italian team together with Totti they're unbeatable!
Yes he is going to be off for the next three months!

That's the problem for an athlete, you have a risk for being injured. but yes i haven't seen him play in a while i forgot "how" he plays.
