i have an iPod mini, and i noticed recently that it will not charge.. i will plug it into the wall and let it charge all day, but when i unplug it to listen to it, although the battery bar says full, it will suddenly notify me that the battery is dead and that i need to plug it in and then it dies.. does anybody know what is wrong??

Mine was doing the same thing. Then the click wheel wouldn't scroll down anymore. I was told that you can't replace the battery...that it had to be sent back to apple and they would charge you $100 for it. I said the heck with it and bought a new iPod Nano and a Shuffle. I love both of them!

I had the same problem. Your battery has gone bad. I got a new battery for less than $20 on ebay. It took me less than 10 minutes to change.

you might just have a dead battery. Batteries lose charge eventually. Check out http://www.ipodbatteryfaq.com/
