To be quite honest, I can't think of anything. If anything I'm more pessimistic and think that any event will be boring, but then after getting there they do turn out to be a lot of fun and I have a good time.

I've skipped so many weddings because I thought they'd be boring and later I heard they were a blast!

Yeah, I know the feeling! I went to a murder mystery a couple days before Halloween, and I was so excited about it! I dressed up like my character, and I had spent quite a few dollars to buy the costume.

But the day before the party I came down with a nasty cold, yet I went anyways. I was miserable, and the party wasn't nearly as fun as I had hoped because one of the characters didn't show up.

Yes this happens many times but it's all part of life.Other events that we think will not turn out so good turn out better than we ever imagined so it sort of evens things out.

Yes, the anticipation and excitement ruins it. That happens a lot for me when you hear about movies from friends, it never lives up to the hype.

YES! It is sooo sad when that happens because your expectations get crushed. I hate it when that happens but I guess that's fate.
